GROWING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Growth can either be healthy or unhealthy What is growth? According to Wikipedia Growth can occur as a stage of maturation or a process toward fullness or fulfillment. Growth can either be quantified as explained below: • Physical (e.g., growth in height, growth in an amount of money) • Abstract (e.g., a system becoming more complex, an organism becoming more mature) It can also refer to the mode of growth, i.e. numeric models for describing how much a particular quantity grows over time. Growth can also be: Biological • Cell growth • A tumor is sometimes referred to as a "growth" • Bacterial growth • Human development (biology) Social • Human development (humanity) • Developmental psychology • Personal development ("Personal growth") Economical • Economic growth • Financial growth, Spiritual • Deeper Study of the Bible • Intimacy with the Spirit / Promptings • Deeper Love for God and His people Note: Growth can be 1. Geometric (size, length, depth, width): That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love. (Eph. 3:17) 3. Spontaneous (Uninhibited, Natural) Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:38b) God expects us as believers to be consistent, geometric and spontaneous with our growth with Him.
